Pesticide used: Evergreen® Crop Protection EC 60-6

Active Ingredients: Pyrethrins (6%)Piperonyl butoxide (60%)

Evergreen® Crop Protection EC 60-6 (EC 60-6) is approved for use in mosquito control programs involving residential, industrial, recreational, and agricultural areas. EC 60-6 is approved for application by ground, truck-mounted sprayer, backpack sprayer, and helicopter or airplane. Best results are achieved when there is a temperature inversion and when wind speed is less than 5 miles per hour.

Other Information: According to the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District, the pesticide concentration used (approximately 2/3 ounce per acre) is not harmful to humans. For more information, contact the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District website or (800) 429-1022.

According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), pesticides approved for mosquito control do not pose an unreasonable risk to human health. People who are concerned about exposure to pesticides can reduce their potential for exposure by staying indoors and keeping windows and doors closed during the application period.
