Notice of Adoption to Text of Regulations Title 27, California Code of Regulations
Amendment to Section 25204, Safe Use Determinations
[08/18/09]

On September 12, 2008, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Amendment of Section 25204- Safe Use Determinations. A 45-day public comment period was provided commencing from the publication of the Notice of Proposed Amendment on September 12, 2008 to November 21, 2008. A public hearing was held on November 7, 2008 and one comment was received. On January 9, 2009 a Notice of Additional Modifications to Text of Proposed Regulation was published. No comments were received, but due to further clarifications suggested by the Office of Administrative Law, further modifications were made and a new Notice of Additional Modifications to Text of Proposed Regulations was published on May 15, 2009. The Office of Administrative Law approved the amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations, Section 25204 on July 23, 2009. The regulation will become effective August 22, 2009. OEHHA announces the availability of the regulatory text and the supporting rulemaking documents.
