Notice of Amendments to Text of Regulations, Title 22, California Code of Regulations, Section 12204 (renumbered from Section 12104)

On May 17, 2002, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking announcing proposed amendments to the Title 22, California Code of Regulations (22 CCR) Section 12104 (renumbered to Section 12204). A public hearing was held on July 1, 2002. Written and oral testimony were accepted at the hearing. Written comments were also received during the 45-day public comment period, which ended on July 1, 2002. On January 27, 2003, OEHHA issued a Notice of Modifications to Text of Proposed Regulations revising the proposed regulatory text of 22 CCR Section 12204. No written comments were received during the 15-day public comment period which ended on February 11, 2003. The Office of Administrative Law approved the amendments on May 22, 2003. The amendments were filed with the Secretary of State on May 22, 2003 and will be effective on June 21, 2003. OEHHA announces the availability of the amended regulatory text and the supporting rulemaking documents.
