Update: Supplemental Material Related to the Draft California Communities Environmental Health Screening Tool:
Preliminary Maps of Pollution Burden and Population Characteristics - Indicators and Components
[08/06/12]
updated 10/08/12

On July 30, 2012, OEHHA released a report describing a screening tool proposed for use in identifying communities impacted by multiple pollution sources and vulnerable to its effects.

In the draft report, OEHHA made statewide maps available for various indicators of contribution to impact across the state. Here, OEHHA is providing additional preliminary maps. Additional maps for other regions will be posted here as they become available.

These maps have been used at a series of public workshops around the state to help solicit input on the draft screening tool (Workshop announcements for Southern California locations and Northern California and Palm Desert).
