The California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) and the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) will convene a public meeting of the Cal/EPA Cumulative Impacts and Precautionary Approaches (CI/PA) Work Group on Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Coastal Hearing Room of the Cal/EPA Headquarters Building at 1001 I Street in Sacramento.

The Work Group is being convened to provide advice on the State’s effort to develop frameworks to assess cumulative impacts and implement precautionary approaches. This work will help Cal/EPA develop guidelines in these areas pursuant to the Cal/EPA Environmental Justice Action Plan.
