The
California Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Environmental
Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) is pleased to announce the availability
of Cal/Ecotox, a new tool for ecological risk assessment. Cal/Ecotox
is a unique database containing exposure factor and toxicity information
for 62 California mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians found
in various habitats throughout the State*. Cal/Ecotox was created
to improve access to the best available information for selected
wildlife species in California, and is the result of a collaborative
effort between OEHHA and the Information Center for the Environment
at the University of California, Davis.
