Notice of Adoption of Regulation Title 27, California Code of Regulations Amendment to Section 25705(b) No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) for Chlorothalonil
[03/30/12]

On March 18, 2011, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing an updated No Significant Risk Level (NSRL) for the chemical chlorothalonil in Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25705(b).  A public comment period was provided from March 18 to June 2, 2011. The Notice also stated that a public hearing would be held on request.  No request for a public hearing was received by OEHHA.  One written comment was received by OEHHA. 

The Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved the adoption of the updated NSRL for chlorothalonil and the amendment to Title 27, California Code of Regulations, section 25705(b) on March 15, 2012.  The regulation was filed with the Secretary of State on March 15, 2012 and will become effective June 15, 2012.  OEHHA announces the availability of the regulatory text and the supporting rulemaking documents.
